Who We Are
After a volunteer trip to Israel that changed our lives, We realized the urgent need to support our beloved country.
We’re a group of six women from Teaneck, New Jersey, representing a rich tapestry of Jewish heritage spanning Morocco, Canada, Belgium, France, Mexico, Israel, and even the Congo. As friends, mothers, grandmothers, wives, business owners, and professionals, our lives were deeply touched on October 7th. Being far from our brothers and sisters in Israel, we felt a profound sense of helplessness.
During a milestone birthday celebration, we had a thought: what better way to make it meaningful than to travel to Eretz Israel and offer a helping hand? Our goal was simple — to lift spirits and volunteer wherever needed. Thus, “Friends on a Mission” was born. Little did we know that it would be the people of Israel who would rekindle our spirits and inspire us.
Together We Can Make a Difference
What We Do
Volunteering in Israel made us realize that we cannot help everyone but we can make a difference in the lives of the people of Israel.
We visited kibbutzims impacted by 10/7, we visited soldiers fighting inside Gaza, and we realized we can’t just be spectators we needed to act and help in every way we can.
The Mission of the Day are opportunities we get, as we are in direct contact with the soldiers and their families- no middleman!
We’ll be introducing you to verified causes that directly reach those in need.
While we may not change the world, together, we can truly impact and make a difference in the lives of those fighting for our country.
Everyday is another story to make an impact and a real difference.
Israel needs us more than ever.

Support an Israeli Orphan Girl's Journey to a Brighter Future"
!!Mission of the Day!! January 17, 2025
We reaching out to share the story of Malky, a bright and resilient young orphan who has found a place where she truly thrives. This incredible program provides her with care, love, and the support she needs to grow and succeed.
Unfortunately, without immediate funding, Malky may lose access to this life-changing opportunity. This program isn’t just a safe space for her—it’s a nurturing environment where she feels valued, supported, and loved.
With your help, we can ensure Malky stays in this program and continues to flourish. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact on her life and future.
We would like to raise $5,000.
Thank you!

They Talk About Us
It started as a surprise trip to Israel to celebrate a friend’s milestone birthday. Six Teaneck friends, Luna Paul, Malka Neuman, Merav Dahan, Karine Baron, Judith Ryba and Audrey Cohen went to Israel after Chanukah with a general idea of wanting to visit family and also to volunteer, but without the exact details ironed out.
Before embarking on their self-made volunteer mission, the women met with Rabbi David Hanania Pinto, Shlita to get a bracha for their journey. He told them that their trip should not only be about volunteering but rather also about giving encouragement to the people in Israel. He said that this way they would find that they gained a lot more than they gave. This blessing opened their eyes, creating a shift in perspective for the experiences that were to come……
